City of Ashby, MN ~ Public Works Superintendent or Public Works Trainee

The City of Ashby is seeking applications for Public Works Superintendent or Public Works Trainee.   This position is responsible for the operations and maintenance of streets, storm sewers, parks, buildings, grounds and trails and the water/wastewater system and facilities.  Ideally, the candidate would have minimum qualifications that include 3 years of experience in public works maintenance, including water and wastewater and street maintenance operations.  Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary to do rounds, snow removal and emergency calls.  Persons who possess Minnesota Water Class C and Wastewater Class D licenses will be considered before other applicants that do not possess these licensures.   The City will consider applicants that are willing to work as a trainee for this position.    Salary range for qualified/licensed applicants is $17.35-$19.83 an hour - dependent on qualifications.  Salary range for trainee applicants is $12.59 - $15.51 an hour dependent on qualifications.   Benefits included health and life insurance, vacation, sick leave, etc.
