Foslien Park Water Quality Pond—Alexandria,
MN
Working with its setting
and existing land features, this stormwater
treatment pond is nestled within the City
of Alexandria’s Foslien Park. Capturing
and detaining the outflow from three urban
storm drains, the pond’s volume, permanent
wet pool, outlet control structure, and
gravity combine to remove and store pollutants
prior to discharge to Lake Victoria.
